Four PhD positions at Eindhoven University of Technology

 

The Dept. of Biomedical Engineering of the Eindhoven University of Technology is actively recruiting 4 PhD students (deadline for applications 31 March 2021):

 

  • 2 positions for in-silico medicine applications ranging from cardiology (e.g., fractional flow reserve for coronary artery disease) to pharmacology (e.g., Multiple Sclerosis patients) in the context of the In Silico World project;
  • 2 positions for generation and validation virtual patient cohorts using physics-based models, clinical data, augmented by synthetic (machine-learning-based) data, to be used for the design and development of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) devices for aortic valve stenosis patients and Pulmonary Artery Pressure Sensors (PAPS) devices for heart failure patients, in the context of the SIMCor project.
