From 6 to 8 September 2022, the city of Ilmenau, Germany, is hosting the Annual Congress of the German Association for Laser Anemometry (GALA). The Congress is organized by the German Association for Laser Anemometry GALA e.V. in cooperation with the Institute of Thermo – and Fluid Dynamics, TU Ilmenau, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
Researchers from our partner IIB (Institute for Implant Technology and Biomaterials e.V.) attended the conference and presented their work on TAVI modeling.
Such work will be published later this year as part of the conference proceedings. The book will include 53 individual contributions illustrating the diverse state of development and the wide application potential of the measurement methods in fluid mechanics, with special consideration of laser-optical, acoustic and electromagnetic methods. It will provide an overview of the current state of development and trends in the further development of these non-contact flow measurement techniques, and of research projects that are being processed with these and other current methods in Germany and neighboring countries.
